Melanie Moss

After many years of practicing Aikido, a knee injury had prompted Melanie to try Yoga, a path she felt would be kinder to her body, yet still provide the mind, body and spirit connection that was so important to her. With Yoga, she immediately found what she was looking for! She began practicing in 2005, and in 2012, decided to deepen this practice and begin the YTT program at Prana under the guidance of Kathleen Kossman, Rowan Silverberg and Holly Clemens.

The personal insight, focus, and joy gained from Yoga has had a positive impact on every facet of her life. Melanie’s classes are uplifting, purposeful, yet challenging, and her sense of humor and playful personality are always a part of the class.

She states ‘I have a deep respect for the unique path of each student and seek to support and inspire them to grow their own practice. Yoga has carried me through the most challenging aspects of my life; My motivation for teaching is to share how through Yoga, each of us has the infinite potential to be filled with joy and gratitude, no matter what life brings.’ She holds a 200 hour RYT certification through Yoga Alliance and looks forward to sharing her practice with you.
