Prana will be hosting a donation class to promote PTSD awareness and the Wounded Warrior Project on Friday April 13th, 2017 at 6:0pm.
This class will be taught by Christina Scalese and Erin Calvey. This event will be cohosted by Diane Brannigan, who is honoring her son and his loving memory. The following is a portion of a letter Diane sent to us regarding her passion to not only memorialize her son Captain Brian Brannigan, but to bring awareness to the struggle that service men and women face.
"To honor Brian's memory I would like to extend an invitation to each and every one of you to join us for an evening of yoga. Brian loved yoga and practiced often. Yoga helped to calm Brians' mind and body. It was a natural approach to healing and promoting awareness. I believe it is a holistic approach to healing while helping veterans and family members suffering from PTSD. Bring your yoga mats and let's get ready to have some fun!!
Yoga has been proven to show positive effects for veterans suffering from PTSD.
Brian had an adventurous spirit. Brian served in the USMC promoted to Captain by the end of his career in 2014.
If your are unable to attend, please consider donating to this worthy cause in memory to honor my son Captain Brian Brannigan. "
Please join us as we celebrate Brian and bring awareness a support to a noble cause. We will also be raffling off 5 baskets. A $20 donation will include the All Levels Class taught by Christina & Erin and will enter you into the basket drawings. You can preregister for this event on line. All proceeds will benefit Wounded Warrior Project.
