Prana will be hosting an evening to promote PTSD awareness and the Wounded Warrior Project on April 7th, 2017 at 6:30pm.
This event will be cohosted by Diane Brannigan, who is honoring her son and his loving memory. The following is a portion of a letter Diane sent to us regarding her passion to not only memorialize her son Captain Brian Brannigan, but to bring awareness to the struggle that service men and women face.
"To honor Brian's memory I would like to extend an invitation to each and every one of you to join us for an evening of yoga. Brian loved yoga and practiced often. Yoga helped to calm Brians' mind and body. It was a natural approach to healing and promoting awareness. I believe it is a holistic approach to healing while helping veterans and family members suffering from PTSD. Bring your yoga mats and let's get ready to have some fun!!
Yoga has been proven to show positive effects for veterans suffering from PTSD.
Brian had an adventurous spirit. Brian served in the USMC promoted to Captain by the end of his career in 2014.
If your are unable to attend, please consider donating to this worthy cause in memory to honor my son Captain Brian Brannigan. "
Please join us as we celebrate Brian and bring awareness a support to a noble cause. A donation for the yoga class is requested. We will have refreshments following. We will also have raffles for some FABULOUS gifts. Please let us know if you plan on attending. All proceeds will benefit Wounded Warrior Project.
